Is there a Logical explanation for the spooky things happening at my daughter, Ali's house?!?!!!!

ok.... looking for some logical explainations.... my daughter, ali, who i've been posting about on the forum...who has developed congestive heart failure.... has had some spooky experiences lately in her house.

here are a few of the things that happened:.

about a month ago, ali and her son david, heard noises from the attic above ali's bedroom...that sounded like something was being dragged across the attic floor.

is she under any medication and are you certain that both heard noises at the same time? I would move out either way, my case was a bit more extreme but everything went away once we move house.

Any past history on the house, are there any witches near by?

i was talking several days ago with a believer who was telling me what an atheist is.

i personally do not have any gods, therefore i consider myself an atheist.

however this person was telling me that an atheist says there is no god.

wobble: How would you know if unicorns don't exist? or a real spaghetti monster? Could you prove me wrong by showing me all the planets from all galaxies to prove your point?? Could you trace backwards to the point that space was nothing but empty pitch black space? And if so could you point how that very very very first thing that was created out of nothing?

Qcmbr: I agree about what you wrote about religion, and atheists sound somewhat like a religious person.. meaning they say things they are not entirely sure of, most material I read from atheists has been about disproving religion and holy books but they make the mistake thinking they are completely discrediting God/s, to accomplish that you would need a knowledge no man so far possesses.

bohm: wrote "If its not a God i have heard about, just give me some general properties like omnibenovolent, creator of the universe, all-seing, sentinent, has a heaven, etc." I dont know if there is or isnt' something like a supreme being/s or a grand architect

Bible revision question. Important?

i have been talking lately with my neighbor about the watchtower religion, and she said she is very good at going verse to verse with them to disprove their bible.

then she asked me if they have their own bible?

so, i told her yes, they started making one in the 1950's.

There had been revisions to agree with their agenda, dr walter matin's book kingdom of the cults points out a classic which was current back in his days, I'll see if I can find it.

My parents said all bibles say the same thing, I shown'd then in KJV bible "God was manifested in the flesh" to prove their point wrong.

Lets not forget John 1.1 In the beggining was the word... and the word was a god.

So in the beggining was a god before THE God LOL

I have never seen any satisfactory proof, scientifically and forensically satisfactory, that God exists, believers should put up or shut up.

instead of blue unicorns you could write big bang and it wouldn't make a difference, where's the proof?

Look bohm this is getting beyond a joke, go back to my posts and read were I mention scientists, atheists are not scientists but they claim not to believe in any god, I said it they go beyond science... are you following me? get it? I can quote anyone that calls themselves atheists because to them the big bang, evolution theory, etc is enough to disprove god/s without the proof, get it? pseudocience definition theory mistaken as scientific: a theory or method doubtfully or mistakenly held to be scientific.

let me give you a very simple analogy, lets say a religions person, atheist and agnostic person were at court to prove their beliefs, who do you think will win?

but I dont want to leave the word prove out, without it I can make the point that from one aspect atheism and religion are same.

To cut to the hearth of the matter, can you provide some evidence to support your claim about pseudoscience. i think its fair to ask you to provide evidence to support it. I already said read The demon haunted world by carl sagan

jojo - my interest in this thread is because i object to this:

atheism resorts to pseudoscience to make the point that god does not exist

instead of going on a wild goose chase, you should perhaps substantiate what you mean. Can you mention a living scientist of some fame (perhaps a nobel winner?) who resort to pseudoscience to proove god does not exist.

What I am saying is very simple, could you prove or disprove god?

ok ok your right about science, I need to be more careful with my wording, in high school when we did tests with tubes and liquids that was called science because we were testing things, so from now on I will say what has been proven from science.
